1. Sticky Sriracha Honey Wings

If you are planning to host a game night or a backyard BBQ soon, these spicy, sweet, and sticky chicken wings are the perfect fit. Soy sauce, honey, and Sriracha Original come together to create a beautiful, glossy glaze for the chicken wings that are so finger-licking good that they will have your guests reaching for second and third helpings.

Ingredients:

  • 500g chicken wings
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha Original
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • Sesame seeds and chopped spring onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. To create the marinade, mix honey, soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, and Sriracha Original in a bowl.
  2. Toss the chicken wings in the marinade and massage them in properly so the flavours seep in well, and let them sit for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavour).
  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C, and arrange the sriracha chicken wings on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped spring onions before serving.

Tip: For extra crispiness, grill the wings for an additional 5 minutes after baking uncovered.

2. Creamy Sriracha Chicken Pasta

Comfort food with a kick! This creamy, spicy pasta has the Sriracha Mayo to thank for its rich, velvety sauce, while the heat is tempered by its smooth, tangy flavour.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 250g pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha Mayo
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water before draining. If you want a bit of extra heat for your pasta, you can also pre-marinate the chicken breast with Exotic Food’s sriracha sauce for an hour prior.
  2. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat, and cook diced chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until golden brown.
  3. Lower heat and whisk in heavy cream, Sriracha Mayo, and parmesan cheese until creamy.
  4. Toss in the cooked pasta and coat. If necessary, add the reserved pasta water you set aside earlier for a creamier sauce.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve right away!

Tip: Add crispy bacon bits for a smoky twist!

3. Sriracha Chicken Tikka Skewers

These charred, juicy chicken skewers are full of punchy spice, making them ideal for the grill. The Sriracha Tikka sauce gives them a rich, aromatic heat that works wonderfully with yoghurt-marinated chicken.

Ingredients:

  • 500g boneless chicken thighs, cut into chunks
  • 3 tbsp Sriracha Tikka
  • ½ cup plain yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Skewers (soaked if wooden)

Instructions:

  1. Combine yoghurt, Sriracha Tikka, lemon juice, cumin, coriander powder, garlic paste, and salt in a bowl to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken, coating all pieces thoroughly. Marinate for a minimum of 1 hour or overnight for the best results.
  3. Thread the chicken on skewers and grill over medium-high heat for 10-12 minutes, flipping occasionally, until slightly charred and completely cooked through.
  4. Serve with mint chutney or a cooling yoghurt dip.

Tip: No grill? Bake at 200°C for 20 minutes, then broil uncovered for 5 minutes for a charred effect.
