Spicy Korean fried chicken

Ingredients

AWill add a punch of sweet, tangy and refreshing sense into dishes. With its heavenly flavorful recipes, It will inevitably become your new kitchens companion.
  • For the chicken
  • 1 1/2 pounds
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • For the sauce
  • 1 cup Sriracha Kimchi Sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  • Place the eggs in a bowl, add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Mix the flour and cornstarch together and place in a shallow bowl .
  • Heat 3 inches of oil in a deep pot to 350ํ degrees.
  • Dip each piece of chicken into the egg, then roll into the flour mixture. Repeat with all of the chicken.
  • Fry chicken at a time for 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Whisk together the Sriracha Kimchi sauce, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce over the chicken and toss to coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
